Our Services

At Gangsline, our Gang Awareness & Prevention Training equips professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to recognise, understand, and respond effectively to issues of gang involvement, youth violence, and exploitation.

Drawing on over a decade of frontline experience, our training explores the real-world factors that influence young people’s choices and provides actionable strategies for safeguarding and early intervention.

What the Training Covers

Our training provides a clear, practical understanding of gang culture and how to respond effectively. Key areas include:

  • Understanding Gang Culture: The social, emotional, and environmental factors that draw young people into gangs.

  • Recognising the Signs: How to identify early indicators of gang involvement or exploitation.

  • Consequences of Gang Life: The real impact of violence, drugs, trauma, and criminal exploitation.

  • Intervention Strategies: Building trust, effective communication, and supporting disengagement.

  • Safeguarding & Collaboration: Sharing information and working with partner agencies to protect vulnerable young people.

The Neon Project, co-produced with Bedford Hospital NHS Trust and Bedfordshire VERU (Violence and Exploitation Reduction Unit), provides specialist training for medical professionals.

Through this initiative, we equip hospital staff with the skills to:

  • Identify signs of gang affiliation or exploitation.

  • Engage sensitively with young people affected by violence.

  • Refer them to trusted local support services before discharge.

By transforming hospitals into places of safety and opportunity, the Neon Project ensures that young people receive help at a crucial turning point in their lives.
